Dfine Bio-Innovations Pvt Ltd is an aspiring medtech Start-up from bangalore founded during the year December of 2020 with sole objective of indigenously developing Medical Devices/Solutions and our perpetual goal is to deliver affordable, leading-edge medical devices for small – mid size clinical laboratories globally. The startup was co-founded by a 4-member team whose cumulative industry experience is >60 years during the December of 2020.

What We Do

Dfine Bio-innovations intends to design, develop and manufacture high quality IVD and POCT equipment’s and currently focused in manufacturing systems in Coagulation testing. Our Target customers are distributors (b2b) and Clinical labs across the Globe. We want to build a brand that customers can easily relate to. We understand the importance of building credibility and our deep intention is to be credible and relatable. Our startup has achieved and progressed immensely since its 4 years of incorporation. Worth mentioning moments are:

  • 10th Dec of 2020 Dfine bioinnovations pvt ltd was formally incorporated as a company with MCA.
  • Dfine bio innovations receives its trademark during Dec of 22
  • Dfine bio innovations gets incubated with IISC (FSID/CPDMED) bangalore during March 2022
  • Dfine is now ISO 13485:2016 certified by MTIC Intercert India, recognized by NABCB.
  • Got ZED bronze and further the Silver certification on Sep of 2023
  • We get our MD-5 license during Dec 23 for our Bangalore facility from CDSCO officially recognizing us an Medical device manufacturer.
  • Received support from Honeywell and Nidhi prayas towards our innovation
  • We setup of another manufacturing facility at AMTZ vizag during March 2024 which also gets ISO 13485:2016 certification and CDSCO license
  • Winner of Lenovo “IT4SMB” awards by ET, Bangalore
  • Winner of Medicall innovation finalist award, chennai
  • March of 2024 we are announced as winner of Elevate 2023 awards call – 2 with a grant in aid of 25 lakhs
  • Received 25 Lakh as CCD fund from Nidhi accelerator program with support from FSID (IISC)

To design, develop, and manufacture cost-effective and sustainable diagnostic solutions tailored for small to mid-size laboratories, ensuring timely and accurate patient care while supporting the “Make in India” initiative.

Qualified Goal

To enable at least 7,000 clinical laboratories to perform advanced diagnostic tests in-house by 2027, improving test turnaround times and patient outcomes, and Vision is to achieve ₹100 crore in revenue by 2030.

Our team is a dynamic blend of industry veterans with over 70 years of combined expertise in medical diagnostics, innovation, and technology development. Co-founded by four visionaries during the challenges of 2020, we share a steadfast commitment to revolutionizing healthcare. With a strong foundation in R&D, product development, and business strategy, our team drives the success of Dfine Bioinnovations. Supported by 15 skilled professionals, we are focused on delivering cutting-edge, indigenous solutions to bridge critical healthcare gaps and promote self-reliance in India.
